Does gatsby moving rubber work on non-asian hair?

Ok I'm Irish and but my hair is normal texture and i straighten it every day...my mom won't let me buy gatsby because i'm not asian...but would it still work on my hair? i am cutting my hair really short so yeah i would like to style it with gatsby
