Need a major General Hospital update Please!?

I used to watch the show religiously, back when Michael was a 2year old with red hair and freckles. Now I see he's 18, and so much has changed since. I'm a bit lost. Could I get some feedback on what's happened in the past couple years. Like Luke and Tracy are married???? Where's Laura??? Liz has 3 kids and Jason is the father of one of them???!!! How did all this happen?? lol. Man, I miss Brenda on the show, they need to get her back on.
