Can someone help regarding ANTS?

Yesterday I noticed about 5 ( not a lot of black little ants in the lounge), scooped them up and put them outside, just came home tonight and there's about 30. they are coming from the Radiator input line , any suggestions and if i hoover them up can they crawl back out?
