I sharpened my eyeliner with a regular pencil sharpener and things didn't work out well.. Help!?

I made a dumb mistake by sharpening it with a regular sharpener, what should I do now? I don't have the money to buy a makeup sharpener cause I just spent all my money on a gift... any answers would be helpful! Thanks!
