Is this wrong? My parents adopted my boyfriend and...?

Him and I are both 14, So Cory's parents both beat him and they had been divorced for a while, I called the helpline and he was taken away from his parents. Cory and I have known each other for the absoloute longest time but have only been friends for the past 3 years and dating for the past 1.5. My mom (my parents are divorced and I do NOT see my dad, let alone want to see him[he used to beat me and my mom when I younger]) knew that we were the best of friends, and she and I know that (this is only an example) if I were to take my shirt off to change, he would turn around and walk out of the room with out being asked. So needless to say, him and were strictly platonic and flaunted it. My mom ends up ADOPTING him, not just fostering like what was origionally planned. We are now kissing, hugging, talking openly about //whatever, making out, and maybe working up to within a year or two.
